Grilled lettuce wrapped burgers & shoestring fries

A juicy grass-fed beef patty in a refreshing lettuce wrap with crispy shoestring french fries and a creamy special sauce made with avocado mayonnaise. These grilled lettuce wrapped burgers are an easy weeknight dinner or great for a small gathering.

Air fryer or sheet pan & parchment paper
Ingredients
For the burgers:
1 pound 93/7 lean ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 container of whole romaine lettuce leaves
For the side:
4 russet potatoes, washed and sliced into thin fries
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons kosher salt
(Optional to make your own: special sauce)
1/2 cup avocado mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
A dash of black pepper
Instructions
Prepare the beef: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon paprika, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, and add a thumb print in the middle of each.
Prepare the fries: Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (or oven to 415°F. Add the washed and sliced fries to a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Cook the burgers: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once the pan is hot, place the patties in the pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until cooked.
Bake the fries: Add the fries, 2 tablespoons of EVOO, and 2 teaspoons salt to the air fryer basket or sheet pan. Mix with spatula to cover potatoes, then cook for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
(Optional) Make your own special sauce: In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup avocado mayonnaise, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and a dash of black pepper. Blend until smooth.
