Lettuce-wrapped burgers with sweet potato fries

Whether you're into grilling or want to enjoy the flavors of a summer cookout, lettuce wrapped burgers with sweet potato fries are full of flavor and veggies. Savory, lean ground beef and freshly sliced tomatoes wrapped in a refresh green lettuce-wrap, enjoy this easy weeknight dinner dish. Enjoy your sweet potato fries on the side with special burger sauce or stuff them right in the wraps for a fun and enjoyable dinner.

Ingredients
For the patties:
1 pound lean (93/7) ground beef
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Fresh ground black pepper, to taste

For the fries:
4 sweet potatoes, washed
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil - My favorite is Kosterina, get 15% off with code GRACE05737
1 teaspoon kosher salt
For the burger sauce:
1/2 cup avocado mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
For serving:
1 bag large iceberg lettuce, washed
1 slicer tomato, washed and sliced
Instructions
Air fry the sweet potato fries: Slice the 4 medium washed sweet potatoes and into thick fries. Add to a bowl of water to soak for 5 - 7 minutes. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Drain water, then dry fries with a paper towel. Add back to a large bowl and toss with 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil and 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Add fries to the basket in a single layer, and cook in batches as needed. Air fry for 12 -15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until crispy and cooked.
Make the burger patties: In a large bowl, combine 1 pound lean ground beef (93/7), 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika, ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon, and several turns of fresh black pepper. Mix until just combined and form into 4 patties. Heat 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the burger patties and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F). Set aside.
Make the burger sauce: In a small bowl, combine ½ cup avocado mayonnaise, ¼ cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 2 cloves minced garlic, ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, and a few turns of fresh black pepper. Stir until smooth and set aside.
Serve: Layer 2 large iceberg lettuce leaves on each plate, then add one cooked burger patty, a slice or two of tomato, and a spoonful of burger sauce. Serve with a side of sweet potato fries or add them directly to your burger and enjoy!
Pro Tip: If you don't have an air fryer, you can roast the sweet potatoes at 425°F for 30 - 35 minutes.
For vegetarian/vegan dietary restrictions: Swap out the regular burger patties for frozen black bean burgers.
